You know why I love being a blogger? You get to accept awards in your pajamas! The fantastic Gareth at 1000 Trillion Suns has nominated me for the Versatile Blogger Award! 3) I name all of my electronics. The laptop is named Nikita, my iPod is named Cameron. (Because it's a tiny machine that likes music, duh.)
4) I have to carry a day planner to remember what day it is.
5) In spite of #4, I can sing every lyric to a song I heard once six months ago.
6) Stephen King and Teddy Ruxpin are jointly responsible for my horror fascination.
7) I have a weird fetish about my pens.

As for the pens, they have to be a specific brand and ink color, and I can't start on a new one until the old one is out of ink, and...I am really, weirdly uptight about it for someone who does most of her work on a laptop these days.
This sooo cool. You're hilarious. I don't think I have enough tin foil in the house, so I may have to hit up Goodwill for a bowling statuette that I can alter. I love the personal stuff and share the naming things with you (computer Toby, netbook Aggie). This totally awesome honor requires some thought (besides I have some mirror talking to do) before I pass on the next round of nominees, but I will make sure they understand the magnitude of the nomination fully.

Mari, thank you so much for this award. I like Red Mojo Mama's idea of getting a statue from Goodwill. I can change the name can't I? I don't know what to do about the figure's sports pose, but I'll come up with something.
